1. John McCauliff or McAuliffe
During my research I found that their last name was spelled several ways. M'Auliff and Mc Cauliff in later years they spelled it McAuliffe.
I am not sure where John is buried but my guess is that he is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery and has become one of the 200 out of the 295 graves that are now unmarked. Also there are no record of deaths before 1880. The odds are against us for getting any death information on him. I obtained his birth year from census records.
Ellen is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery (Formerly Mill Creek Cemetery) the first burial in this cemetery was in 1855 and the last was in 1983. Dawn went to a walk through of this cemetery on Memorial Day 2000 and at that time there were 295 burials in this cemetery and 200 of them are unmarked. Ellen's stone stands alone on a hill side with a beautiful view of the country side. Unfortunately the condition of the stone is very poor and has become very hard to read.
Ellen's tombstone had her maiden name spelled Reardon but the Irish spelling on her marriage record it was spelled Riordan.
